Globe and Star polls contradict one another

Reid poll has put the Conservatives higher throughout the campaign.

On Sunday, the Toronto Star's Angus Reid poll suggests the Conservatives are headed for majority territory.

The day before, the Globe and Mail's polling reported the Conservatives are slipping.

The Liberal-supporting Star often predicts an imminent Conservative win just before Election Day in order to persuade vote-switchers to vote Liberal to stop them.
