Thank you for your honest and brave comments on the tar sands and the proposed pipeline when you were here. I am an NDP supporter and have always voted for the party. I am a 4th generation Albertan and I am horrified at what Big Oil did to my home down, Calgary, and my province. I cannot even be civil on what the Right has done and is doing. These oil companies pay very little for the resources they take and very little corporate tax. Because of this our schools are caving in and the health care plan is barely adequate. The foreign companies are taking away the money that should be used in Alberta and in Canada.

You looked quite authentic in your Western clothes.
