The minority Harper government placed many of these conservatives in the unelected senate but why were so many liberal senators absent from the senate when this vote was taken. This bill was passed by a majority of the elected house of commons why should the senate be allowed to kill it. It is long past time to either make the senate an elected body or failing this to abolish the senate.

Has the Democrats, and the so called Canadian supporters gone mad? There's no such thing as the government pays. The people will and already do pay for carbon tax on top of paying to have your car pass emmision tests. Climate change would be welcomed for us freezing Canadians, longer growing seasons would be a plus. All of this does nothing to just the way it is. Growth equals more, not less. Nobody can stop growth, 300.000 more of us a day, it's our very lively hood.

These guy's that squished this bill know dam well that any reductions are impossibe and should be commended
