Canadians to train Afghan soldiers? Are you kidding? The Afghans know more about military operations than Canadians. They beat off the Russian. We have nothing to teach them about fighting.

The main reason for the invasion in the first place was simply to secure a route for an oil and gas pipeline from Turkmenistan which has the oil that the rest of the world wants. The whole war is about oil and nothing else. All countries are taking their orders from the major oil companies.

Bob Rae is agreeing with Harper because he wants to be Prime Minister when Ignatieff fails to form government. He thinks he can't achieve that by going against the oil companies. His position on this is just for his private ambitions.

Two years from now we will get another excuse to stay longer yet.
