As a Canadian I would prefer to have a coalition. In a minority government roughly 1/3 of the population has representation in Ottawa. Under Hopeless Harper that would be all the corporations . With a coalition we would have roughly 60% to 75% representation in Ottawa. I feel that system would increase in popularity because more people would benefit. That doesn't appeal to Hopeless Harper EH Is England having a problem?

I believe Mr. Harper knows that if he does not get a majority this time, he will be asked to step aside by his Party. Unfortunately, there are not many (if any) red tories left so it would be more of the same. Also, the cost of elections every two to three years is not an option. That is why a coalition would be the best option should minority goverment happen again. It has worked before, it can again.
