OPINION It would be interesting if this Mar (Chinese) ended up getting the premiers job. Then Alberta would have a chinaman for premier and Calgary would have a Muslim for Mayor. They must be in the oil industry. I assume Mars first choice if elected premier would be to get the pipeline built to the west coast so he could supply China with Albertas oil. Oil spills on the west coast (that will kill salmon)don't affect Albertan's. They are already suffering from the oil companies toxic waste. All the premiers in Alberta are mouthpieces for American oil companies. Canadians come second . They throw a few bucks at Canucks to shut them up. Alberta is a cesspool of toxic waste.and it will increase if oil goes west in a foreign owned pipeline. Whoever becomes the next premier should force the pipeline company to put up 5 billion dollars to protect BC and 5 billion to protect Alberta. Or is this another foreign company that is in bed with the Hopeless Harper Conservatives.? BC has a very corrupt government so they should have no access to this money. Does the same go for Alberta.? It;s quite evident that corporate criminals are on the loose in Canada and are supported by right wing governments.
