Mr Stevens, I read your work at StraightGoods.

Very unfortunate that you pan the McGinty's efforts to move Ontario into the post-carbon era which has arrived, under cover of much misinformation by climate change deniers and the old lobby. McGuinty is banking heavily on his "Green Energy Act", which is designed to update the Ontario economy through the development of new technology, create jobs, increase exports, encourage alternative energy production through windmills, solar panels and the like — and in the process reduce pollution and abate climate change. It all sounds somewhat fuzzy and futuristic. And difficult to explain on the campaign trail.

You could have pointed out how the Liberals are attempting what Germany and Sweden have largely already accomplished.

Maybe you could make an effort to get your head around it and make it less difficult to understand for your readers, instead of brushing it off with distain.

Yours truly, Ian Graham
