Maple Ridge should get a huge atta-boy for showing other communities what can be done when the governments of the day don't see the vision to teach the next generation about aspects of the environment. Components like the air, water, forests and soil are all affected by pollution from our vehicles, factories and how we manage our commercial and sports fishery. Even how often we change our cars' oil has an impact on our environment. Using synthetic lubricants instead of petroleum based oils and Propylene Glycol instead of the toxic ethylene glycol would make a huge difference for starters.

These students will be busy studying all these ideas, so don't let me stop you.
