This is disturbingly similar to the F35 fighter jet procurement -"they won't meet Canada's needs", and yet the Harper team is pushing it through.

When big contracts like these come up we must allways be vigilant - modern history is rife with examples of corruption when big bucks are at stake. In fact, it is almost a certainty that certain favours will be granted when one supplier is chosen over another. Someone along the chain will be a key player and will be rewarded in some way, often hidden, untraceable, not allways just cash. In turn they reward the other key players - there is plenty of money in these things to siphon off a small percentage, which happens to be $millions upon $millions.

That is only one of the concerns here. The fact that the F35 contract is a "no bid" arrangement should raise red flags too. No bid helps facilitate the first point above!!

Another concern is the criminality of the Harper government as witnessed by election fraud - if they would do that, they would do this... they appear to have no qualms about doing whatsoever to achieve their goals.
