Thanks John. Your article is a keeper. I don't have any interest in the Globe. I also don't have any time for it. I'm not an extremist. I can read major media offerings. But if I don't have time, and Who does these days?, I will pare down my exposure to major media. I stick with the Toronto Star for that reason, and also because I'm a Torontonian. Which isn't to say that there are not a few decent writers found in the Star.

I'm sure you're a great guy. But I am alarmed (not surprised) that you don't know how to punctuate and that you are unaware (Or unconcerned?) that attest to is incorrect. You may as well say 'testify to' if you can't drop the 'to' in the contraction. It's extremely annoying to find such carelessness coming from professionals. I argue that it matters whether you care.
